Visit to Coiba Penal Colony

USD 75.00 p/p

+Admission: (Panamanians $5 - Foreigners $20)

Description (Minimum 8 people)

The island of Coiba is part of Panama and is located off the country's Pacific coast, in the Gulf of Chiriquí. A former penal colony, today it is part of Coiba National Park, known for its diversity of marine life and jungle animals, such as white-faced monkeys. Manta rays, whales, and hammerhead sharks inhabit the dive sites of the Damas Bay reef.

We take you to the mysterious prison where beautiful nature has reclaimed its space, after years of a dark and eerie past.

We offer a visit to the prison and also take you to the beautiful hot springs. Additionally, you can snorkel and enjoy the beach in the crystal-clear waters of one of the islands in Coiba National Park.

New and clean boats equipped with communication radios, GPS, and awnings to cover from the sun or rain.

**The guide and captain assess weather conditions, tides, and currents while being in Cebaco, so the aforementioned points to visit may change during the tour.**
